STUDIO POLICIES

NEW GUESTS

  • All clients must create an account in order to purchase class credits and register for class. Payments can be made online and are required in order to book a class. All sales are final. We do not offer refunds for class credits.

  • All clients must be at least 14 years old. Clients ages 14-17 will require a signature from a parent or guardian in-studio.

  • If you are new to Pilates and/or the reformer apparatus, we request that you choose a beginner-friendly class for your first class experience for your safety and the experience of all our clients. We want you to feel comfortable with the equipment and the flow of the class before advancing to the next level and a faster pace.

  • Please arrive at least 10 minutes early for your first class so that we can provide an introduction to the apparatus and go over any physical conditions, past injuries, or limitations you may have before beginning class.

  • Out of respect for other class participants and your safety, we do not admit new clients to class more than 10 minutes after class has begun.

WORKOUT ATTIRE

  • Choose comfortable athletic wear (free of buttons, snaps, zippers, chains, and glitter to avoid damaging the equipment) that allows for a full range of movement. Form-fitting clothing is recommended so that we can better assess your postural alignment and form throughout the class.

  • The studio is co-ed, so please dress accordingly. Baggy shorts should be avoided as we incorporate inversions and straddle stretches in our workouts.

  • We require grip socks to be worn in our studio for both safety and hygiene. Sticky bottom socks provide the best grip throughout a workout. If you do not own grip socks, we have some available for purchase at the studio.

STUDIO ETIQUETTE

  • Please arrive on time for group classes. Out of respect for other class participants and for your safety, we do not admit clients to class more than 10 minutes after the start time.

  • For your safety, please do not enter the exercise studio space and use equipment without your instructor.

  • When a class or Private lesson is in session, please do not enter the studio space. We request that you wait patiently in the reception area until the instructor has signaled that the class or session has ended.

  • We request that all cell phones and devices be set to silent mode during class. Cell phone use is not permitted during class. However, if you must take an urgent call, please do so quietly in the reception area.

  • No food or drinks are permitted in the studio area or on the equipment at any time.

  • Please refrain from wearing perfumes or strongly scented lotions while in the studio out of respect for others who may have sensitivities or allergies.

  • Please refrain from wearing self-tanning products or heavy makeup which can rub off on the equipment, leaving behind a trail of residue on the machines.

  • All equipment and props must be wiped down thoroughly with disinfectant wipes at the end of each class.

LATE CANCELLATIONS & SCHEDULE CHANGES

  • We have a 6-hour Late Cancellation Policy. If you wish to cancel a class or session, you must do so at least 6 hours before the scheduled start time, and the class will be credited back to your account.

  • No Shows and Late Cancellations / Changes made within 6 hours or less before the class or session start time will be subject to the full charge of the class/session or the loss of a credit taken from an existing package.

  • Holders of the FLX FLO UNLIMITED MONTHLY MEMBERSHIP will incur a $20 Late Cancel Fee charged directly to the credit card on file for late cancels and changes.

  • Instructor / Class Changes: Instructors and classes are subject to change without notice. We will always do our best to provide you with a high-quality class experience. Please check our schedule for the most up-to-date information.

  • Class Cancellations / Studio Closings: In the event of an emergency or weather-related incident in which a class needs to be canceled or the studio will be closed, we will contact all clients signed up for classes directly via email or phone regarding any unexpected changes. All reserved class credits will be returned to clients' accounts.

WAITLIST

  • If a class you’d like to take is full, we recommend putting yourself on the waitlist. In order to do so, you must purchase a class or have an existing class credit, package, or membership. If you do not get a spot in the class, the class credit will be returned to your account. The waitlist operates on a first-come-first-served basis and closes at the 2-hour mark before the class start time.

  • If a spot becomes available up to 2 hours before the start of class, the first person on the waitlist will be automatically added to the class and receive an email confirmation.

  • The waitlist closes and becomes void at the 2-hour mark prior to that class start time. So, if a reservation for that class is late canceled within the 2-hour window before the start of class, a spot would become available for booking online again. Therefore, we recommend you check the schedule before class in case any spots have opened up past the 2-hour waitlist window.

  • The 6-Hour Late Cancellation / Change Policy still applies to the waitlist. Any time before 6 hours of the start of class, if you are still on the waitlist and realize you no longer want a spot in class or can no longer make it, please remove yourself from the waitlist to avoid losing a class credit or incurring a fee in the event that a spot becomes available and you get in. The same applies if you choose to double-book yourself for another class that day while awaiting a spot to open on the waitlist. Make sure you cancel any double booking before the 6-Hour Late Cancellation / Change window so that you do not hold up a spot that could potentially be booked by another client.

SAFETY CONCERNS

  • As per the waiver, you must inform FLX FLO Pilates about pertinent health issues or anything you think may potentially affect your workout with us.

  • If your condition changes - for instance, if you become pregnant or suffer even a minor fall - please let us know so that we may provide the best possible service for you.

  • All fitness equipment has its safety concerns, especially if used improperly. Please do not use equipment without your instructor present.

PREGNANCY

  • If you have been regularly practicing FLX FLO Pilates before you became pregnant, you can continue to take class as long as you feel comfortable and have your doctor’s approval. Please discuss these classes with you doctor before taking class.

  • If you are new to FLX FLO Pilates, we do not advise you to try it for the first time when pregnant. Doctors do not recommend starting a new workout when pregnant, especially something as core-intensive as FLX FLO Pilates.

  • Your physician should clear any post-pregnancy activity. Remember to be kind to your body and take your time getting back into a workout routine.
